Health and Wellness

I believe that, of all the wonderful benefits to eating well, the biggest is to your overall health. When you fuel your body with nutritious foods – and incorporate some form of physical activity into your daily routine - the rest follows naturally: your health improves, you may lose weight or find it easier to maintain your current weight, you will have more energy, you will look better, feel better, and you will want to continue to make better choices when it comes to eating. It is truly a beautiful cycle.

Maybe you found out you have elevated cholesterol or triglycerides? Do you suffer from high blood pressure? Possibly your doctor has warned you that you are dangerously close to developing Type 2 diabetes? Or maybe you’ve learned you are anemic? Perhaps you are simply interested in changing some of your habits and learning how to eat more healthfully. Do your energy levels tend to taper off at particular times during the day, often causing you to make hasty and unhealthful food choices? Or perhaps you find yourself spending an inordinate amount of money to support a caffeine habit? Instead of turning to medication or Starbucks, these are just some of the conditions that can be improved through diet.

Most of us already know what a positive effect eating nutritiously can have on our health and well-being but lack either the motivation or know-how to get started. When we work together, you will have my complete guidance and support to get started, and I will be there throughout your journey to help you following through with our food plans. Because watching you achieve your health and nutrition goal is my goal.
